About This Role
Riverdi – a dynamically growing display manufacturer – is seeking an Embedded Engineer to join our team responsible for designing and testing electronic systems. The person in this position will work on hardware and software development, participate in the testing process, and support customers in integration and implementation of products in end applications.
Your Responsibilities
As an Embedded Engineer at Riverdi, you will:
Collaborate with our R&D department to develop innovative hardware and software solutions
Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by customers while creating comprehensive technical documentation
Integrate software with hardware systems to ensure seamless functionality
Drive product development initiatives and contribute to our cutting-edge display technologies
Test prototypes and implement improvements based on test results and performance analysis
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar embedded engineering role
Strong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems development
Expertise in Embedded Linux, including configuration, optimization, and debugging
Linux kernel experience including modification, compilation, and driver development
Knowledge of communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN
Experience with embedded system building tools: Yocto, Buildroot, OpenWrt
Technical degree (preferred fields: electronics, electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related)
Ability to work with electronic circuits and microcontrollers (ST, NXP, Renesas)
Electronic schematic reading skills
Strong teamwork abilities
Excellent communication and creativity skills
Proficient technical English (spoken and written) enabling smooth communication
Nice to have
Knowledge of RTOS technologies (FreeRTOS, Zephyr)
Experience with HMI systems (displays, touch panels)
Scripting languages knowledge
Containerization technologies experience (Docker)
