Riverdi introduces its first display solution designed directly for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4, now available for preorder. This 10.1″ high-brightness IPS module pairs an industrial-grade display with a CM4-ready carrier board, forming a single platform intended for engineers who need to verify CM4-based systems under real operating conditions.
Instead of assembling multiple components, the unit provides an integrated path: a CM4 socket, ready-to-use I/O, wide-range power input and an industrial PCAP touch option. The goal is straightforward—offer a stable hardware base that allows teams to evaluate Linux-based HMI or edge-processing concepts without designing a custom carrier at the early stage.
Engineers can now reserve evaluation units and access the documentation package ahead of mass production.
Technical overview
Key characteristics that define the platform:
- 10.1″ IPS TFT, 1280×800 resolution
- Brightness up to 850 cd/m² (optical bonding variant)
- Industrial PCAP touch with ILITEK ILI2132A controller
- 7.5–55 V DC power input, suitable for industrial and vehicle systems
- I/O set: USB, GPIO, RS232/RS485/CAN, Mini-HDMI output
- Expansion: M.2 B-key for cellular modems, uSD slot, SIM holder
- CM4 compatibility: supports the full Compute Module 4 lineup
The combination of wide-voltage input, IPS readability and industrial touch performance makes this platform suitable for early prototyping in demanding electrical environments.
Why evaluate during the preorder phase
Teams joining the preorder list gain:
- Priority allocation once production units become available
- Complete documentation, including drawings and reference configurations
The platform’s optical bonding option and full-view IPS display allow engineers to measure visibility in high-light and noisy EMC conditions with results consistent with final deployments.
