Riverdi is extending its USB-C Plug and Play display portfolio with a new 15.6″ high-brightness IPS module. The module addresses industrial applications where complex dashboards, multi-window layouts, or long-distance readability are practical requirements rather than design preferences.
The display maintains the familiar single-cable USB-C integration while scaling the concept to a significantly larger format. Video via DisplayPort Alt Mode, touch as USB-HID, and power are all delivered through one USB-C connection, helping simplify wiring, reduce integration effort, and keep system layouts clean even in large enclosures.
Full HD and expanded viewing area
The 15.6″ panel operates at 1920×1080 resolution, offering a clear step up from 1280×800 displays commonly used in mid-size industrial HMIs. Compared to Riverdi’s 12.1″ USB-C model, the active display area increases by approximately 65%, allowing more information to be presented simultaneously without reducing font size or interface clarity.
The IPS panel delivers consistent viewing angles and brightness up to 1000 cd/m², supporting installations in control rooms, transportation systems, medical environments, and public-facing terminals where ambient light cannot be tightly controlled.
Optional industrial PCAP touch
For systems requiring touch input, the display can be equipped with an industrial PCAP touch panel based on an ILITEK controller. It supports multi-touch operation, glove use, and reliable input with water on the surface—features expected in industrial and semi-outdoor deployments.
