Riverdi is extending its embedded display lineup with a new platform developed specifically for Raspberry Pi 5. The upcoming 7.0″ high-brightness IPS display targets engineers who adopt the latest-generation Pi for industrial, commercial, and professional systems—and expect display hardware built to industrial standards.
This solution pairs an industrial display module with an integrated Raspberry Pi 5 socket, creating a compact, low-profile assembly optimized for embedded use. Customers add their own Raspberry Pi 5 and receive a ready display foundation designed for long-term reliability, stable touch operation, and flexible power integration.
Purpose-built for Raspberry Pi 5 projects
The platform is engineered around Raspberry Pi 5 requirements, providing a socketed integration that keeps key Pi interfaces accessible while minimizing system height. This design supports fast bring-up, simplified mechanical integration, and smoother scaling from prototypes to production-ready devices—without reworking the display architecture.
High-brightness display with industrial touch
The system is built around a 7.0″ IPS TFT panel with 1024×600 (WSVGA) resolution and brightness levels of up to 1000 cd/m², ensuring clear visibility in bright and semi-outdoor environments. Touch input is handled by an industrial PCAP solution based on the ILITEK ILI2132A controller, offering up to 10-point multi-touch, thick glove operation, and reliable performance even with water on the surface.
Industrial power and deployment readiness
A wide 9–36 V DC input range enables straightforward integration into industrial power infrastructures, while EMC performance and component choices are aligned with professional deployment expectations. Combined with the long-term availability of Raspberry Pi 5, the platform fits applications such as industrial IoT interfaces, building automation panels, kiosks, and edge visualization systems.
