Riverdi is extending its industrial display portfolio into a new developer community—engineers building on ESP32. Now, the ESP ecosystem gains access to industrial-grade display quality—bringing professional reliability and performance to projects built on ESP32.
The upcoming Riverdi 10.1″ module introduces a production-ready alternative: a high-brightness IPS display combined with an ESP32-P4 microcontroller on a robust embedded platform.
Industrial display performance as the foundation
The module is built around a 1280×800 IPS panel with 800–1000 cd/m² brightness for sunlight-readable operation. Optical bonding improves contrast and outdoor durability, while the industrial PCAP touch (ILITEK controller, 8 mm glass possible, glove and water operation) ensures stable interaction in demanding environments. As with other Riverdi displays, customization options—cover glass, branding, mechanical adjustments—remain available for OEM projects.

ESP32 integration for real applications
The ESP32-P4 provides familiar tooling through ESP-IDF, making migration from existing ESP32 designs straightforward. The dual-core RISC-V architecture supports advanced control logic and lightweight edge processing without requiring external compute modules. Industrial interfaces such as RS232, RS485, CAN, USB-C High-Speed, I²C, SPI, GPIO expansion, and uSD enable the platform to fit into automation, medical, and connected IoT systems. Optional Wi-Fi/Bluetooth or cellular modem modules support wireless deployments.
Designed for production
This upcoming module bridges the gap between ESP-based prototyping and deployable embedded products. With an industrial display as the core, engineers gain a stable, long-term component for HMI and IoT projects built on ESP32.
