The RT1176 brings a dual-core architecture to the screen itself.
A performance-focused Arm® Cortex®-M7 up to 1 GHz works alongside a Cortex®-M4 up to 400 MHz to balance real-time responsiveness with advanced GUI logic. Paired with 512 Mbit SDRAM and 512 Mbit Octal Flash + 32 Mbit SPI Flash, it handles heavy graphics, data and control tasks without external computing boards.
Key technical display parameters
The 1280×800 IPS panel is designed for visibility from any angle, and up to 1000 cd/m² brightness keeps information readable even in strong ambient light. Optical bonding enhances durability and contrast, while the industrial-grade PCAP touch remains accurate through gloves, water drops and EMI-rich environments.
Interfaces that speed up integration
RS232, RS485, CAN and Ethernet cover common industrial connections. 5.0–36.0 V DC input supports diverse equipment without redesign. With GUI Guider and MCUXpresso toolchain compatibility, interface design and firmware development stay straightforward for NXP-focused teams.
