Riverdi is adding a new option to its USB-C Plug and Play family: a 7.0″ high-brightness IPS display designed for space-constrained embedded systems. It’s aimed at engineers building smaller HMIs for industrial, medical, and IoT devices—where enclosure depth, cable routing, and serviceability are as crucial as image quality.
With a single USB-C connection, the module streamlines bring-up and mechanical integration. Video via DisplayPort Alt Mode, touch as USB-HID, and power are carried over one cable—reducing wiring complexity and helping keep compact assemblies clean and reproducible.
Designed for tight enclosures
The 7.0″ IPS TFT panel delivers 1024×600 resolution and wide viewing angles that suit panel-mounted controls and handheld equipment. High brightness up to 1000 cd/m² improves readability in bright indoor areas and semi-outdoor installations.
Optional industrial touch
For applications that require reliable interaction, the optional industrial PCAP touch uses the ILITEK ILI2132A controller with up to 10-point multi-touch. It supports operation with gloves and maintains stable response even with water on the surface—useful in real-world industrial and field conditions.
