Bien que les \u00e9quipes de marketing adorent utiliser ces termes de mani\u00e8re interchangeable, il existe des diff\u00e9rences techniques r\u00e9elles qui comptent lorsque vous choisissez le bon \u00e9cran pour votre projet. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La confusion initiale peut \u00eatre compr\u00e9hensible. Les deux technologies utilisent des mat\u00e9riaux organiques qui \u00e9mettent de la lumi\u00e8re lorsqu&rsquo;ils sont travers\u00e9s par un courant. Mais le diable se cache dans les d\u00e9tails de la mise en \u0153uvre &#8211; et ces d\u00e9tails peuvent faire des merveilles ou jeter un sort \u00e0 l&rsquo;efficacit\u00e9 de votre conception.  <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quest-ce_que_lOLED\"><\/span>Qu&rsquo;est-ce que l&rsquo;OLED ?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">OLED signifie Organic Light-Emitting Diode (diode \u00e9lectroluminescente organique). Au fond, c&rsquo;est \u00e9tonnamment simple : des compos\u00e9s organiques pris en sandwich entre deux \u00e9lectrodes \u00e9mettent des photons lorsque vous appliquez une tension. Pas besoin de r\u00e9tro\u00e9clairage, pas besoin de filtres de couleur, juste une \u00e9mission directe de lumi\u00e8re \u00e0 partir du mat\u00e9riau organique lui-m\u00eame.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cette approche fondamentale conf\u00e8re aux \u00e9crans OLED leurs caract\u00e9ristiques propres : des noirs parfaits (les pixels s&rsquo;\u00e9teignent tout simplement), d&rsquo;excellents taux de contraste et la possibilit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00eatre fabriqu\u00e9s sur des substrats flexibles. C&rsquo;est la raison pour laquelle votre smartphone peut \u00eatre l\u00e9g\u00e8rement pli\u00e9 sans que l&rsquo;\u00e9cran ne se fissure, et que les t\u00e9l\u00e9viseurs OLED peuvent produire ces sc\u00e8nes sombres spectaculaires qui donnent \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cran LCD un aspect d\u00e9lav\u00e9. <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Comment_fonctionne_lOLED\"><\/span>Comment fonctionne l&rsquo;OLED ?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Les principes physiques sont simples &#8211; aucun chat de Schr\u00f6dinger n&rsquo;est impliqu\u00e9. Appliquez du courant \u00e0 des mol\u00e9cules organiques et elles passent \u00e0 des \u00e9tats d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s. Lorsqu&rsquo;elles reviennent \u00e0 leur \u00e9tat fondamental, elles \u00e9mettent des photons. Les diff\u00e9rents compos\u00e9s organiques \u00e9mettent des longueurs d&rsquo;onde diff\u00e9rentes (rouge, vert ou bleu), ce qui permet d&rsquo;obtenir des affichages en couleur.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La partie la plus intelligente est la structure. Bien s\u00fbr. C&rsquo;est le cas de l&rsquo;AMOLED qui est une OLED avec un ajout crucial : le contr\u00f4le matriciel actif. Cela revient \u00e0 placer une minuscule cellule de m\u00e9moire et un interrupteur \u00e0 l&#8217;emplacement de chaque pixel. Il ne s&rsquo;agit pas seulement d&rsquo;une fonction agr\u00e9able \u00e0 obtenir, elle change fondamentalement les possibilit\u00e9s de l&rsquo;\u00e9cran.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La partie \u00ab\u00a0matrice active\u00a0\u00bb fait r\u00e9f\u00e9rence au transistor \u00e0 couche mince (TFT) qui contr\u00f4le chaque pixel de mani\u00e8re ind\u00e9pendante. Il s&rsquo;agit de la m\u00eame approche de base utilis\u00e9e dans les <a href=\"https:\/\/riverdi.com\/fr\/categorie-produit\/ecran-lcd\">panneaux LCD<\/a> modernes, mais appliqu\u00e9e \u00e0 la technologie OLED. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Et oui, il est possible de faire mieux que \u00ab\u00a0encore mieux\u00a0\u00bb. Cela permet d&rsquo;\u00e9liminer la couche tactile s\u00e9par\u00e9e, d&rsquo;augmenter la luminosit\u00e9, d&rsquo;am\u00e9liorer la lisibilit\u00e9 en plein soleil et de r\u00e9duire la consommation d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie.  <\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Comment_fonctionne_lAMOLED\"><\/span>Comment fonctionne l&rsquo;AMOLED ?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chaque emplacement de pixel contient un circuit de commande avec des transistors qui stockent et maintiennent le niveau de luminosit\u00e9 du pixel entre les cycles de rafra\u00eechissement. Pendant l&rsquo;adressage, le transistor de s\u00e9lection de ligne s&rsquo;allume, ce qui permet au condensateur de stockage du pixel de se charger au niveau de tension souhait\u00e9. Une fois charg\u00e9, le pixel conserve son \u00e9tat jusqu&rsquo;au prochain rafra\u00eechissement.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cette approche de la charge stock\u00e9e signifie que les pixels peuvent \u00e9mettre de la lumi\u00e8re en continu plut\u00f4t que d&rsquo;\u00eatre puls\u00e9s pendant de br\u00e8ves fen\u00eatres d&rsquo;adressage. Il en r\u00e9sulte des \u00e9crans plus lumineux, avec une luminosit\u00e9 plus homog\u00e8ne sur toute la surface de l&rsquo;\u00e9cran. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Differences_entre_OLED_et_AMOLED\"><\/span>Diff\u00e9rences entre OLED et AMOLED<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La distinction n&rsquo;est ni acad\u00e9mique ni li\u00e9e au marketing &#8211; elle a des implications r\u00e9elles pour vos choix de conception.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>\u00c9volutivit\u00e9<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: L&rsquo;OLED passive (PMOLED) fonctionne bien jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 une diagonale d&rsquo;environ 5 pouces. Au-del\u00e0, vous rencontrez des probl\u00e8mes physiques fondamentaux avec la r\u00e9sistance de la ligne et le cycle de travail du pixel. L&rsquo;AMOLED s&rsquo;adapte \u00e0 la taille que vous pouvez vous permettre de fabriquer.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Consommation \u00e9lectrique<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Les PMOLED doivent alimenter simultan\u00e9ment des lignes et des colonnes enti\u00e8res, ce qui entra\u00eene des pics de courant \u00e9lev\u00e9s et un gaspillage d&rsquo;\u00e9nergie. Les pixels AMOLED ne consomment de l&rsquo;\u00e9nergie que lorsqu&rsquo;ils en ont besoin et dans la mesure o\u00f9 ils en ont besoin. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Taux de rafra\u00eechissement<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Le PMOLED a du mal \u00e0 g\u00e9rer les contenus en mouvement rapide car chaque pixel n&rsquo;a droit qu&rsquo;\u00e0 une infime partie du cycle de rafra\u00eechissement pour \u00e9mettre de la lumi\u00e8re. Les pixels AMOLED restent allum\u00e9s en permanence, ce qui permet des vid\u00e9os fluides et des interfaces tactiles r\u00e9actives, avec des taux de rafra\u00eechissement extr\u00eamement rapides atteignant 120 Hz ou plus. Il en va de m\u00eame pour les taux d&rsquo;\u00e9chantillonnage tactiles, qui peuvent atteindre 240 Hz, ce qui constitue un avantage consid\u00e9rable pour les interfaces homme-machine industrielles.    <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Complexit\u00e9 de la fabrication<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Le PMOLED est plus simple \u00e0 fabriquer &#8211; il suffit de placer les mat\u00e9riaux OLED entre les \u00e9lectrodes des lignes et des colonnes.
