Today, we would like to introduce you to our new high-end display series – decorative Projected Capacitive touch screen, IPS high-brightness, industrial CTP controllers, and optical bonding. Since there are so many, and since they are so various, let us introduce them properly.

The displays come in sizes 4.3″, 5.0″ and 7.0″ with an RGB interface and 7” with an LVDS interface. You can easily find them by choosing the IPS high brightness product line. For each of the product categories we offer 4 options:

  1. LCD TFT
  2. LCD TFT with a mounting metal frame
  3. LCD TFT with an UxTouch PCAP
  4. LCD TFT that is optically bonded with an UxTouch PCAP

Now, you can easily pick the right display for your application, and in case you have questions or doubts, our experienced team can always assist you.

High-end technologies

Here is some useful information about the high-end technologies we use in our standard products:

Why IPS?
The full viewing angles that IPS displays offer will give you the opportunity to see the content clearly from every point of view, unlike TN technology.

Why high-brightness?
We live in a bright, colorful modern world. It really matters how you present the content on the display. You want the display to show all the vibrancy of real life. Nobody wants to look at dull, grey images. That is why our high-brightness displays have 1000 cd/m2 and allow you to see a clear image even outdoor. High-brightness is the key to readability and with Riverdi you have it by standard!

Optical bonding?
Optical bonding is a process of affixing the touch panel (or just the protective glass) to the display using a liquid adhesive, gel or dry (film). In general, this process improves the parameters of the module – the optical performance, as well as durability.

You should choose our high-brightness IPS displays with optical bonding if you want to assure that your display has enhanced optical performance and excellent durability.

The process of optical bonding uses an optical-grade adhesive to glue glass to the top surface of a display. It eliminates the usual air-gap between the touch panel and the display. When removing the air gaps, we reduce the number of internal reflecting surfaces, which increase in optical performance. This phenomenon improves readability, by reducing the reflection and correct contrast. You can see in the image above what a difference optical bonding can make.

You can take a look at the displays below:

Why the industrial CTP controller?
Our skilled engineers are experts in tuning it, so the display can be used with water or gloves. We can easily adapt the touch functionality to every device. Thanks to the CTP controller our displays can pass the highest industrial and medical requirements.

Why Projected Capacitive Touch Screen?
PCAP is the most innovative and sought after touch screen technology. It offers users an intuitive way to interact with the displays.

This type of touchscreen is the most common type used in phones, tablets, and other hand-held devices. The technology allows you to tap, scroll, zoom, pinch, and flick, without even thinking about it. If you’re building an application that requires seamless interaction with the device and intuitive user interface design, look no further than these new displays.

You can see the main features of these touch screens below:

  • UxTouch- Black decorative cover glass – 1.10 mm thickness by standard, can be increased up to 15mm
  • Latest state-of-the-art ILITEK Touch IC – ILI2132A, with 10 years guaranteed availability
  • USB/I2C interface/Optional UART
  • Supports double gloves operation – not only nitrile – even double thicker gloves
  • Working with water on the surface
  • Multi-touch, up to 10 fingers
  • Great EMC, RS (radiated susceptibility) and CS (conductive susceptibility) performance
